Arizona: The State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement. It is up to the individual to track and report their credits. A certificate of attendance will be provided to you at the conclusion of the Legal Summit for self reporting.
District of Columbia: D.C. Bar does not provide CLE accreditation for organizations’ courses or events. Since the D.C. Bar does not have mandatory CLE requirements at this time, there is no CLE accreditation body. The Bar does not certify CLE providers or keep records of members’ attendance at other providers’ CLE courses.
Massachusetts: Massachusetts does not have mandatory CLE requirements for most attorneys. CLE participation is otherwise voluntary and not tracked by the state bar.
New Hampshire: New Hampshire does not pre-approve CLE courses. Attorneys are responsible for self-assessing course eligibility under Supreme Court Rule 53 and reporting attendance through the Attorney Reporting Tool (ART). A certificate of attendance will be provided to you at the conclusion of the Legal Summit for self reporting.
New York: This course is approved in Tennessee, a New York Approved Jurisdiction. Under New York’s CLE policy, attorneys may claim credit for participation in out-of-state programs accredited by Approved Jurisdictions, provided the course meets New York’s standards and documentation is retained. A certificate of attendance will be provided to you at the conclusion of the Legal Summit.
South Dakota: South Dakota does not require mandatory CLE to maintain a law license. Attorneys may voluntarily attend CLE programs for professional development, but CLE credit is not tracked or required by the State Bar of South Dakota.
If you do not see your state listed, please contact Jaclyn Sanford (jsanford@restaurant.org) for more information.
